Description
The Pinfish 28” is Yow’s new swallowtail cruiser shape, inspired by some of the legendary skate shapes of the 80’s, with as usual a few tweaks. An aesthetically pleasing yet fully functional board that you’ll want to take everywhere. Fast when you need it to be, as surfy as it gets and as beautiful as you are.
The Pinfish has a soft concave and a medium kick tail, enough to keep your feet in place and help you navigate. It also features wheel wells to reduce the risk of wheel bite. It’s mounted on new patented 139mm Legasee trucks, which have a larger turning radius than standard skate trucks, giving you a nice surfy feel while being easy to push. It’s also fitted with new 60×40 80a Lurra wheels, which are fast and grippy enough for use on any terrain.
All Yow decks are made from 7-ply hardrock maple – responsibly sourced from areas under a forest protection law in the Great Lakes, with the goal of saving, preserving and regenerating nature’s biodiversity – pressed with a water-based glue. All trucks are cast in the Basque Country and are REACH compliant, ensuring the protection of human health and the environment. Wheels are made in-house using a Super High Rebound formula with top-quality urethane.
