Kywie Champagne cooler is an ingenious bag, handmade from 100% natural sheepskin, that keeps your pre-chilled champagne, burgundy, sparkling wine, ciders and spirits perfectly cold, even hours after you have opened the bottle. Thanks to the remarkable bio-insulating properties of wool and the airlock cord around the neck of the bottle, you can enjoy every sip at the ideal temperature. As such, there will be slight variations in colour, texture and markings which we believe add to the beauty and individual character of each cooler. Kywie champagne cooler is 23.5 cm high.
Sheep are truly remarkable creatures and their wool has a natural resilience. Encased in a thin, protective layer of natural oils, their wool defies dirt and moisture. Even with frequent exposure to rain, you won’t find a soaking wet sheep with a ruined perm. 30% of the moisture is absorbed, while the rest simply beads off. The same goes for our sheepskin coolers.
In addition to its water-resistant qualities, wool has unique diuretic properties that keep your cooler smelling fresh. After use, simply remove the bottle and let the cooler air dry before storing it in your closet. It is not recommended or necessary to place it near a heat source. Your KYWIE cooler will quickly return to its original state, free of odors and degradation. And if you want to exchange the empty bottle for a new one, that is no problem; the functionality remains unchanged, even in a damp cooler.
As for the exterior of KYWIE coolers, there are two different types:
• Suede: Suede is a delicate material that requires careful handling. Avoid contact with greasy or oily fingers at all times. For light stains, gently roughen the surface with a brush or eraser. You can then apply a suede shoe or handbag spray. For more stubborn stains, sprinkle talcum powder or baking soda on the affected area and leave it on overnight. The next day, use a suede brush to brush off the powder.
• Printed: A printed layer is the easiest to maintain. Simply use a damp cloth to wipe away any stains. That's it! These coolers are perfect for heavy-duty use, such as in restaurants or bars.
